the alleluia

wrapped in earth prayers, waiting in repose

time tightens

the one true god calls us to be mindful

they carry death into life

an echo of their collective grief is rising from those who weep

it gives voice to the alleluia in the spreading of wings

be mindful loves

death is carried into life

alleluia

born

the heavy, burdensome being is replaced with light

and there at the end of one world is yet another

and they sing alleluia

alleluia

as they welcome them home
